Miami's rap diva Trina is getting quite a bit of publicity and it's not for a hit album.
The "Diamond Princess" has apparently become the victim of a thief who snatched up her cell phone that contained nude pics. The pics, which we can't find (not that we have spent the entire morning looking), must not be that flattering because the FBI has been called in to find the culprit.
The phone also contained pictures of Trina with her NBA star boyfriend Kenyon Martin and some pictures of the rapper crying.
The suspect also apparently tried to extort Trina out of some cash in exchange for the revealing photos.
"[The images are] me on a very upset day — I think I was in Canada, upset crying," she told MTV. "Just personal stuff. Photos in the studio. I think [one] was me having an allergic reaction, breaking out. Hopefully we can deal with the situation and put an end to it."
Back in the day, Trina probably wouldn't have blinked at the thought of someone putting nude pics online. "The Baddest Chick" relished a little nudity.
But the news of Trina snapping nude pics of herself can't help her application to adopt Haitian children orphaned by the earthquake. That's not quite the image of a motherly figure.

The phone was allegedly stolen in October at the BET Hip Hop Awards.
