The Florida Turnpike extension was closed Monday morning near Northwest 27th Avenue after a fiery crash.
Aerial footage showed a flatbed truck and another vehicle that appeared to be involved in the crash that left both cars in flames. The incident closed the Turnpike extension in both directions.
The driver of the truck was not injured, but one person from the other vehicle was transported to the hospital for treatment, according to Miramar Fire Rescue.
Traffic was being diverted to Northwest 57th Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
