Vice President Biden To Speak at Cypress Bay High School's Graduation

The White House made the announcement Wednesday

Vice President Joe Biden will deliver a commencement address at Cypress Bay High School in Weston on June 4, the White House announced Tuesday.

The Weston school’s graduation ceremony is set for that Monday at 4 p.m., though the location has yet to be announced.

It is one of only three such speeches the vice president will give this spring. He will also appear at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on May 26 and Tallwood High School in Virginia Beach on June 14, the White House said.

Cypress Bay is Broward County’s biggest high school with 4,210 students, said the South Florida Sun Sentinel, which first reported the news.

The Sentinel noted that Weston is the political base of Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who leads the Democratic National Committee.
