A man was arrested Sunday in connection with the murder of his wife, who was found in the driveway of a Southwest Miami-Dade home.
Rolando Garcia, 53, has been arrested and charged with second degree murder with a deadly weapon.
Garcia confessed to investigators to killing Barbara Diaz, his wife of 10 years, with a knife, according to Miami-Dade Police Department
Diaz's body was found in the driveway of a home located on southwest 43rd Terrace and 107th Avenue on Friday.
Miami-Dade Police say they responded to the house after a man entered a fire station making bizarre statements.
A friend told NBC 6 the woman and man are husband and wife and had been separated for one month.
No further information was released.
