Suspect Killed in Police-Involved Shooting in North Miami Beach

A suspect was killed Monday in a police-involved shooting in North Miami Beach.

The shooting happened at around 4 p.m. in the area of Northeast 12th Avenue and 163rd Street, according to the North Miami Beach Police Department.

Officers were dispatched to a bank regarding a fraud in process, police said. They attempted to stop the suspect's car, which slammed into the officers' vehicles.

The officers discharged their weapons and that's when the suspect was shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Information on the suspect and the officer was not available.
