A family was woken up by quite the sight Tuesday morning when a car crashed into their North Miami home.

Officers responded around 3 a.m.to the scene located in the 12400 block of Northwest 13th Avenue, where the car could be seen crashed into one of the bedrooms of the home.

North Miami Police officials said the blue Dodge Charger had been reported stolen out of Hollywood back in May and that the license plate comes back to a different stolen vehicle from North Miami.

When officers arrived, there was no one inside the Charger.

Police said the bedroom where the crash happened was unoccupied, and no major injuries were reported.

Police said they're treating the incident as a hit-and-run. They're now looking at cameras in the area for any video to help identify the driver and figure out how this happened.
