Cats in South Florida may not have nine lives these days, but at least one will live to see another day after a teen swerved his car to avoid the feline and ended up in a backyard swimming pool early this morning.
The teen was driving through Coral Springs around 3:30 a.m. when he jerked the wheel to avoid the carefree cat and his car busted through a fence and went right into the drink.
The teen made it safely out of the car and a couple hours later the car was pulled out of the pool.
But to make matters worse, the house owners were headed on their honeymoon this morning, set to leave at 6 a.m.
Instead the couple will have to stay behind to repair the damage.
