Firefighters responded to a house fire in Miami Friday.
The fire was reported at a single story house at 4075 Northwest 4th Street, City of Miami Fire Rescue officials said.
Officials said a man was cooking in the home and left. When he returned, he found the house on fire and tried to put it out with a garden hose.
Firefighters arrived and found several rooms and the backyard patio on fire. The fire was under control in 20 minutes with no damage to neighboring homes.
No injuries were reported. Investigators are trying to determine how many people will be displaced and if the Red Cross is needed.
