Dolphins Come From Behind to Extend Win Streak

The Dolphins extended their winning streak to five games with a comeback on Sunday

The Miami Dolphins extended their win streak to five with a 14-10 comeback victory over the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday.

The Dolphins struggled to get much going on offense until the fourth quarter. In the first 11 possessions it had, Miami punted ten times and Ryan Tannehill was intercepted once. Down by ten with under six minutes to play, Miami finally converted on third down for the first time in the game. The drive would end in a touchdown. With 36 seconds left in regulation, the Dolphins would score the go-ahead TD.

The Dolphins were hampered by injuries in this one. Missing on the offensive line for Miami were both Branden Albert and Mike Pouncey. Miami's center could return next week as Pouncey's injury is not considered serious. On the defensive side, the Dolphins were without the services of Mario Williams and Jelani Jenkins.

Tannehill had a dismal day until the fourth quarter's heroics. Tannehill's interception was his first in five games, but he found his rhythm during the thrilling comeback. The quarterback ended up going 24-34 for 172 yards with the aforementioned two touchdown passes. DeVante Parker and Jarvis Landry were on the receiving end of one TD each.

Miami will return home next Sunday to host the San Francisco 49ers at 1:00 p.m.
