The FBI is searching for a man who robbed a bank in the Brickell area Monday.
The robbery happened around 3:15 p.m. at the First Bank of Florida located on Brickell Avenue.
Authorities say the suspect, wearing a leather jacket and a cap, used a note during the hold-up. Customers were inside the bank at the time of the heist.
The crook got away on foot. The amount of money stolen will not be released.
Miami patrol cars swarmed the area as officers searched for the robber. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000 or Miami Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
