A hooded burglar was caught on camera breaking into a neighborhood variety store in Flagami and stealing more than $15,000 in merchandise.
The burglary happened early Friday at El Encanto on West Flagler Street.
Dayanaris Montelongo, an employee, said the burglar took telephones, memory sticks and about $400 in cash.
The man is seen on video going straight for the cash register as soon as he breaks in.
