Ex-Umpire Busted for Drug Trafficking

Brigid Lesokvsky was arrested in May for having an improper relationship with a teen softball player, BSO said

A former softball umpire is accused of hitting another foul ball after getting arrested for drug  trafficking over the weekend, the Broward Sheriff's Office said Monday.

Brigid Lesovsky, 25, was charged with drug possession and trafficking hydrocodone after she was caught driving around a Broward County school on a suspended license and with a box that contained powerful prescription pills, BSO said.

Lesovsky was arrested in May for allegedly having a long romantic relationship with a teen who played softball in the same youth league Lesovsky volunteered as an umpire.

On Sept. 9, a BSO deputy noticed Lesovsky and a friend continuously driving around Cooper City High School as if they were lost, an arrest report stated. When the deputy stopped Lesovsky, the ex-ump said she had a suspended license but gave several different stories for why she was in the area, the report stated.

The passenger in Lesovsky's car told the deputy they were driving around the school "to see a girl ... whom she liked," the report stated. The girl she was referring to was the same teen Lesovsky was accused of having the improper sexual relationship with, BSO said.

In May, a Broward judge ordered Lesovsky to stay away from the teen and her family.

During a search of Lesovsky's car, the deputy found 63 Vicodine pills, a glass smoking pipe, a metal grinder and few other pills, the arrest report said.

Lesovsky is being held in Broward County jail on no bond.
