One person died Friday during a shootout in Davie that may have stemmed from road rage, police said.
The incident happened at around 2 p.m. on Flamingo Road and Southwest 8th Street, according to Davie Police.
Officials said the shootout happened between two men. One of them died at the scene, and the other was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
Police recovered a firearm at the scene.
Flamingo Road at 8th Street was shut down in both directions for hours.
