Florida Gov. Rick Scott Strikes Back at Woman in Starbucks in New Ad

Florida Gov. Rick Scott is striking back at the "terribly rude" woman who was caught on video cursing and yelling at Scott at a Starbucks in Gainesville.

A video released by Scott's Let's Get to Work political committee called "Latte Liberal Gets an Earful" (WATCH below) attempts to poke holes in the loud arguments made by Cara Jennings, who served two terms as a Lake Worth city commissioner between 2006 and 2010.

"That woman clearly has a problem, and it turns out, she's a former government official who refused to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and calls herself an anarchist," the new video claims.

"You cut Medicaid, so I couldn't get Obamacare," Jennings is seen yelling at Scott in the video of the Tuesday confrontation. She then calls Scott a derogatory word before he refers to the more than 1 million jobs created since he's been in office. The Scott video claims that more than 9,300 jobs have been created in the Gainesville area.

"Let's take a look at who around her has a job. Since Rick Scott became governor, 9,300 new jobs have been added all in this area. In fact, unemployment here was cut in half," the video says.

"A million jobs?" she asked. "Great, who here has a great job?"

"Well, almost everybody, except those who are sitting around coffee shops, demanding public assistance, surfing the Internet and cursing at customers who come in," Scott's video says.

Jennings responded to Scott's ad in a Facebook post Friday.

"Hold on to your seats y'all....this just got crazy. The Governor's PAC appears to have put out a video about me," she wrote. "So, if you call out the Governor you get the power of his PAC coming after you. Anyone see a problem with this power equation?"
