A teacher at a Florida school found herself behind bars after police say she sent inappropriate text messages to a teenage student before the duo had sex on several different occasions.
NBC affiliate WFLA-TV reported that 31-year-old Kassandra Moore was arrested and charged with four counts of lewd and lascivious behavior as well as one count of transmitting harmful material.
According to police in Bradenton, a complaint was made about Moore to the Broach School in April in which investigators were given a copy of conversations between the teacher and a 15-year-old male student.
The student was interviewed and he turned over several pieces of evidence to the police, including pictures of the teacher in lingerie that had several body parts exposed. The student admitted to police that he had met with Moore several times at a park and had sex with her.
Detectives say Moore tried to get another teacher at the school to help serve as an alibi in the case as well as asking a former student for help in trying to delete messages.
