Police are investigating how messages of hate got on a car and home in Coconut Creek – and looking for whoever put them there.

Officers responded to the home off NW 49th Avenue and saw a white car and garage door painted with red messages and hate symbols toward Jews, African-Americans and members of the LGBTQ community.

The victim, Ben Siegel, claims to know who painted the messages but police have not confirmed any potential suspects or Siegel’s accusations.

Officials do not believe there is an imminent threat to the community and are continuing their investigation.
