The walls of our Soffer and Fine Adoption Center will surely be decked and ready to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year with all of our four-legged friends on Saturday, December 5th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm.
There will be plenty of entertainment and Yuletide fun for the whole family! Children will enjoy frolicking around our shelter to take part in exciting and festive activities, like a very merry scavenger hunt, which includes stopping by the kissing booth to get a kiss from one of our precious pooches under the mistletoe. The whole family will relish in holiday cheer as they delight in performances and savory treats, like delicious hot chocolate with mini marshmallows, holiday cookies, cupcakes and much more. You will not want to miss the arrival of Santa “Paws” on the Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck from the 22nd station as the shelter becomes illuminated with twinkly holiday lights; the perfect ending to the jolliest holiday celebration of the season!

The 4th annual Holiday Lights for the Animals event is a celebratory event for our annual fundraising campaign for our Humane Society of Greater Miami. This year, the campaign will directly benefit our Second Chance Fund, a fund developed to pay for treatments and services that are above and beyond the standard preventive vaccines and medical care that every animal receives and for services that are not available through our own clinics. This commitment to the health of our animals is possible because of support from generous people like you. We hope you can make a donation to our Second Chance Fund to help the animals in need. You may use this opportunity to make a holiday gift in honor or memory of someone you love. A $20 donation will illuminate one light or candle. You can set a strand of lights aglow for $100; illuminate a wreath or menorah for $200; or light an entire tree for $500!
