A major Hollywood street was shut down in both directions Wednesday morning after a pedestrian was struck and killed, police said.
Hollywood Boulevard was closed between 46th and 52nd Avenue after the pedestrian was struck.
The incident occurred about a half mile away from the Rainbow Montessori Multicultural School in Hollywood.
The victim's identity hasn't been released, Police said the driver stayed at the scene.
