Nude Feud Led to Fatal Neighbor Shooting: Miami-Dade Police
A Miami-Dade woman who feuded with neighbors after she allegedly refused to cover up or close her blinds while hanging out in her home fully nude is accused of fatally shooting one of her neighbors, police said.
Taquana Washington, 34, was arrested Wednesday on charges of second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, an arrest report said. The charges stem from the Nov. 22, 2017 shooting that happened near Washington's home on Southwest 116th Avenue, the report said.
Google Earth Leads to Remains of Missing Florida Man in Lake
It took 22 years, but a missing man's remains were finally found thanks to someone who zoomed in on his former Florida neighborhood with Google satellite images and noticed a car submerged in a lake, authorities said.
The skeletal remains were of William Moldt, who went missing in 1997 at the age of 40, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff's office spokeswoman Teri Barbera said on Thursday that a previous resident of the Grand Isles neighborhood in Wellington was checking the neighborhood on Google Earth when he zoomed into the lake and saw what looked like a car.

Maritza Monge became emotional just thinking that there may be other consumers who did what she did. She gave Storm Guard Windows and Doors $4,812 – about half of the cost of the job – and signed a contract in July 2018 for three impact windows and three doors for her Sunrise home, documents showed.
Regine Saint Louis said she gave a deposit of $10,500 to the same company for a $20,977 job to replace all of the windows and doors at her Coconut Creek home in October 2018. Both women called NBC 6 Responds after they said they experienced months of waiting, missed installation dates and few answers.
