Police arrested a 37-year-old man Sunday after he attempted to burglarize a Pembroke Pines home.
The 911 call came in around 8:24 a.m., regarding a home burglary attempt in the 7900 block of Taft Street.
Investigators determined that 37-year-old Anthony Lee Haynie entered the home through an unlocked side door. Once inside, Haynie was confronted by Adalberto Lamanza, 29, and was physically removed from the home.
While the Haynie walked away from the home, police were called. Authorities said officers located and detained the Haynie within minutes. He was arrested and transported to the Broward County Jail.
No property damage or injuries were reported during this incident.
