Hialeah Police are looking for a man who was caught on video lighting a car on fire back in October.

Hialeah Police are looking for a man who was caught on video lighting a car on fire back in October.

The incident happened on October 28 in the parking lot of the apartment complex at 1305 W. 53rd Street, police said Wednesday.

The video shows the man pouring a container of gasoline as he circles the car, before the fire is ignited and the car goes up in flames.

The owner of the car told NBC 6 South Florida she doesn't know who set her car on fire but thinks it may be revenge for something her husband, a member of the condo board, may have done.

She also said things could have been worse, considering the car was parked beneath the building's main gas line.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, between 20-30 years old.

Anyone with information is asked to call Hialeah Police at 305-687-2525 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
