A man found himself behind bars after police say he exposed himself to a family – including their three young children – during an incident Sunday evening.
Officers arrested Giraldo Palacio and charged the 53-year-old with three counts of lewd and lascivious exhibition to a child younger than 16 years of age after arresting him shortly after 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of Collins Avenue and 169th Street in Sunny Isles Beach.
According to the arrest report, police say an intoxicated Palacio got into a verbal exchange with a family that included three children – ages 15, 14 and 10 – before taking off his clothing and exposing himself while making thrusting motions toward the victims.
Palacio was taken into custody, later telling police in Spanish that he “doesn’t know what the big deal is.”
