A man is facing charges after exposing himself to a 9-year-old girl inside a Miami-Dade church, police said.
Demetrius Collins, 31, was arrested on one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition on a child under 16 and two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct on a child under 16, according to a Miami-Dade Police arrest report.
Collins appeared in court Thursday where his bond was set at $22,500. It was unknown if he has an attorney.
According to the report, Collins admitted that he partially exposed himself in the presence of the girl in the United House of Prayer on Northwest 27th Avenue.
He also confessed that in a separate incident, he asked the girl to bend down and said he was going to put something in her mouth, referring to his penis, the report said.
In a third incident, Collins said the victim had been accidentally exposed to pornography that was on his cell phone, the report said.
