Police are on the hunt for the gunman behind a shooting inside a downtown Miami apartment building.
Officers were called about gunshots, and when they checked the upper floors of the Opera Tower at 1750 North Bayshore Drive, they found a blood trail which eventually lead them to a single victim.
Officers responded to the scene at 9:42 p.m. Friday. After the victim was found, Miami Fire Rescue arrived and transported him to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition.
Police are investigating the shooting.
