The shooting happened in the area of NW 192nd Street and 3rd Avenue. Miami Gardens Police responded to a 911 call around 5 a.m. regarding a violent, mentally-disturbed male.

Officers shot Hall, who died on the scene.

"I called the police this morning to please help me with my child, he has a mental problem," Daniels said. "They killed my child, took my child away from me."
One of the officers was taken to Memorial Hospital in Hollywood with unspecified injuries.
