New information has been released on the investigation into an attempted child abduction in Miami-Dade.
Police said they have located and interviewed the man involved in the incident that was caught on camera Tuesday morning.
Surveillance video shows an 11-year-old girl walking along Northwest 7th Avenue near 103rd Street when an older model Chevy S-10 pulled up.
The driver asked the girl for help fixing his truck. That's when she was grabbed and nearly pulled inside the truck before managing to get away.
Police have not released the man's name, but said he's being fully cooperative and the investigation is ongoing. Charges are pending.
