A man has been rushed to the hospital after being shot in the back during a road rage incident Wednesday.
The shooting involved the occupants of two cars - one a small compact car and the other a U-Haul truck - and occurred around 1 p.m.
The victim, whose name has not been released, is a white Hispanic male and has been identified as the driver of the compact car, police said.
According to police, there were two men in the U-Haul and four people in a Nissan Versa. The Versa cut off the U-Haul, which sparked the incident, police said.
An argument broke out between the people in both cars and when both vehicles pulled over, one of the men in the U-Haul fired several shots into the NIssan.
Miami Gardens Police have two people in custody and have blocked off traffic on Northwest 163rd Street between 56th and 57th avenues.
