A shooting in Miami Gardens had a nearby elementary school on lockdown Monday.
The shooting was reported near Myrtle Grove Elementary in the 3100 block of Northwest 175th Street.
Miami Gardens Police said one man was shot in the leg. He was seen being treated at the scene down the street from the school and his condition was unknown.
The school was briefly placed on lockdown, but it was lifted a short time later.
No other information was immediately known.
