A couple was tied up in a home invasion robbery early Wednesday, Miami-Dade Police said.
The couple live with their 3-month-old daughter in their home on 63rd Ave., police said in a news release. Shortly after the mother left home with their baby to get food, two suspects came in through the unlocked front door at about 12:30 a.m., according to police.

WATCH HERE“The subjects confronted (the man), tied his hands and feet, struck him on the back of the head with a baseball bat, and demanded property,” police said.

As the suspects ransacked the place, the mother returned home and was also tied up by them, before they left the home with an undetermined amount of property, police said.
The mother freed herself and called police from a neighbor’s home. The victims received minor injuries and the child was not harmed, police said.

Police said they are seeking three suspects in all, including two who are believed to be in their 20s. They continue to investigate.
