A Hialeah man who sports a face tattoo with the name of his city is facing several charges for a number of car thefts and burglaries over the past couple months, authorities said.
Rasec Acosta-Fuentes, 20, was arrested Wednesday on multiple grand theft auto and burglary charges as well as a carrying a concealed weapon charge, according to police reports.
The reports said Acosta-Fuentes, who has a "Hialeah" tattoo under his left eye, was spotted by an officer driving a 2018 Jaguar that had been reported stolen earlier Wednesday.
When Acosta-Fuentes and his passengers spotted the officer they tried to flee on foot but were quickly taken into custody, the reports said.
The reports said Acosta-Fuentes is responsible for at least three other crimes that date back to September, when he's accused of burglarizing a car and taking nothing but leaving behind fingerprints.
In October, Acosta-Fuentes burglarized another car and was able to steal debit cards and bank checks, the reports said. And On Nov. 1, he allegedly stole a Toyota Corolla while the owner was filling it up at a Hialeah gas station in a crime that was caught on surveillance cameras, the reports said.

Acosta-Fuentes appeared in court Thursday where he was ordered held on $15,000 bond. Attorney information wasn't available.
