More than a dozen people were injured in a crash that involved a transit bus Wednesday afternoon in southwest Miami-Dade.
The crash happened before 4 p.m. in the area of SW 248th Street and Busway.
A total of 14 people were injured in the crash, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue. Nine patients were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries and two patients were transported as trauma alerts. Three people were treated and evaluated on scene.
The crash involved a Miami-Dade transit bus, according to Miami-Dade police.
Authorities initially reported the crash also involved a bicyclist but later clarified it was only between a bus and another vehicle.
