Motorcyclist Struck in Hialeah Hit-And-Run: Police

A man was injured when a hit-and-run crash sent him flying off his bike and onto the pavement in Hialeah Wednesday morning.

Police say the yet-unidentified male victim is in his 30's. He was riding his motorcycle at East 10th Avenue and 19th Street in Hialeah around 8:15 a.m. when a van struck him and left the scene.

Hialeah Police and Fire Rescue crews say he was thrown about 10 feet from his motorcycle onto the pavement.

Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are currently working on an exact description of the van that left the scene.
