Be on the lookout for nightly lane closures on some South Florida roadways during the next week.
From 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., northbound I-95 express lanes will be closed between the Golden Glades Interchange and State Road 112 until Thursday, the Sun Sentinel reports. You can expect two to three normal lanes from Northwest 29th Street to Northwest 50th Street to be temporarily closed as well, the newspaper said.
In addition, all southbound I-95 express lanes will be temporarily closed from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. until Thursday. Those lanes will reportedly close from 11 p.m. on Friday to 11 a.m. on Saturday.
In North Miami, two southbound I-95 lanes will close from Ives Dairy Road to Northwest 191st Street from 11 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Saturday.
The temporary traffic changes are part of a larger project to upgrade electronic signs and build emergency stopping sites. To see the full list of traffic changes, click here.
