One person was taken to the hospital Saturday night after being shot near the Clevelander Hotel on South Beach.
The incident happened on the east side of 10th Street and Ocean Drive at about 7 p.m.
Mamadou Bah, 26, from New York, is being charged with battery.
According to investigators, Bah became involved in a physical altercation with three other men in the area. During the fight, two others began to record the altercation on a cell phone.
That’s when police said Bah became aggressive towards them. Officials said Bah then charged at one of them.
At one point, one of them became fearful for his safety, which is when he pulled out a gun and shot Bah three times, striking him in the arm.
Bah was taken to the hospital. Police determined that Bah was the primary aggressor in this incident.
