Federal officials raided a home Thursday afternoon in northeast Miami-Dade as a part of an operation targeting illegal opioids and guns.
Police and FBI agents investigated a home on Northeast 115th Street as a part of a police investigation called "Operation Heatwave."
Agents were put in hazmat suits as a precautionary measure because the opioid could possibly be fentanyl, according to Miami-Dade police.
A woman was taken into custody at the scene. Officials haven't released any information on her identity or involvement with the investigation.
Police said the operation has resulted in 11 arrests and the seizure of possible marijuana, heroin and cash.
