An Orlando man has been accused of choking an Orange County sheriff's deputy.
Media outlets report 24-year-old Benjamin Richard Frauman faces multiple charges including attempted murder of a law enforcement officer following Wednesday's incident.
Sheriff's office spokesman Lt. Antorrio Wright says two deputies were called to a Burger King for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
Upon arrival, deputies contacted Frauman and 55-year-old Richard Ray Frauman. Wright says that's when Benjamin Frauman tried to run away. He was caught by a deputy, who Wright says the suspect tried to choke.
He says the other deputy intervened and a violent struggle then broke out, prompting the deputies to call for backup.
Investigators say both men were found with drugs and face several drug charges.
It's unclear if they have attorneys.
