"I'm very nervous, but at the same time I'm excited to be back in school," freshman Simon Miller said on Wednesday. "While I don't know if it will ever be the same as it was, I think I kind of need to be ready for school and to come to terms with what happened."

The school closed after a shooting in which 17 people were killed on Feb. 14.
