Hialeah Police were involved in the pursuit of three suspected armed carjackers which ended in Miami Gardens early Friday morning.
Officers confirm the carjacking of a white Ford F-250 near west 68th Street and 16th avenue in Hialeah.
Authorities say three armed suspects pistol whipped the driver of the pickup truck and fled in the vehicle. A Hialeah police officer spotted the truck and a pursuit ensued.
During the pursuit, it's believed two if the suspects were dropped off at a gas station near northwest 171st street and 42nd ave in Miami Gardens.
The driver crashed the truck into a guard rail and jumped out before being arrested.
Police have not released any updates on the victim's condition.
