Two males are in custody and one more is on the loose after a violent carjacking of a taxicab in Little Havana early Monday.

Miami Police confirm that the carjacking occurred in the area of 13th Avenue and 15th Street in Miami around 4 a.m. Monday.

The cab driver, Heberto Fletes, was dispatched to the area of Southwest 10th Avenue and 8th Street where he picked up the three males, who gave him directions.

The suspects were later identified as Steve Manilla and Anthony Hernandez, both 18. A third suspect remains at large.

The taxi cab driver was not injured in the incident.
