The Miami Police Department has released surveillance video of a suspect stealing a Ford pickup truck.
The 2015 Ford pickup was stolen from the parking lot of Miami Auto Export located at 2553 NW 23rd Street at about 1 a.m. on Nov. 10.
"Surveillance video depicts an unknown subject jumping over a locked gate. The subject is then seen prowling around the described vehicle until he manages to gain entry inside," police said in a statement. "Several minutes later, the suspect reverses the stolen vehicle onto the gate causing it to break."
The suspect fled the area going eastbound on NW 23rd Street. Police described the suspect as a thin-built man, approximately aged from 20 to 40, last seen wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with white letters, blue jeans and orange gloves.
