Broward Sheriff's Office detectives are asking for the public's assistance in identifying a man who robbed two gas stations in less than 48 hours in May.
According to detectives, on May 20 an unidentified man wearing a white-striped hooded jacket, walked into the Shell gas station at 1410 North Park Drive in Weston with a handgun and demanded money. The surveillance video shows the employee emptied both cash registers, and the man fled with the cash in hand.
The robbery was at least his second stick-up in two days, police said. The previous robbery happened on May 19 at a Marathon gas station located at 13652 State Road 84. During the crime, the man wore the same white-striped hooded jacket.
