It's the day baseball fans in South Florida have been waiting for -- Miami Marlins opening day!
On Tuesday at 7:10 p.m., the Marlins will host the Detroit Tigers at Marlins Park in Little Havana.
After six disappointing seasons, the Fish are hoping that new manager Don Mattingly and new hitting coach Barry Bonds - both of whom bring impressive resumes to the table - will help turn things around.
The team hasn't been to the playoffs since 2003 but after making a lot of noise during Spring training they're anxious to get on the field.
They officially released their Opening Night 25-man roster on Sunday after making a final round of cuts.
