2 Shot After Armed Robbery in Parking Lot of SW Miami-Dade Pizzeria

Two teens were shot after an armed robbery Monday in the parking lot of a pizzeria in southwest Miami-Dade.

The robbery and shooting happened at Frankie's Pizza on Bird Road, according to the Miami-Dade Police Department.

Two male victims, an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old, were sitting inside a tan Lexus at the parking lot of the pizzeria when they were approached by a black SUV, police said.

The two males inside the SUV demanded property from the victims and got into an argument, police said. As the victims were driving away, the suspects shot at their vehicle. The 18-year-old was shot in the leg and the 19-year-old was grazed in the face by a bullet.

The victims were taken to the hospital, where one was in stable condition and the other was released.

Police are looking for two males, around 18 to 20 years old, in a black SUV. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
