Big names in literature, poetry and art converge this week on the 33rd annual Miami Book Fair.
Miami Dade College kicked off the fair Sunday with a number of events at its downtown Miami Wolfson Campus.
Roads surrounding the campus have been blocked off and filled with dozens of exhibitors featured in the street fair.
Many of the events during the eight-day festival are being held at Wolfson campus, including a Drink and Draw Night, an Evening with Maureen Dowd and the FUN ROOM: Science Fair.
Some of the celebrity authors featured at the festival are Daily Show host Trevor Noah, actor Alan Cumming, journalist Jorge Ramos and children's book author Eoin Colfer.
The literary gathering kicked off Sunday and runs through Nov. 20th.
