Trader Joe’s is celebrating its 50th anniversary with giveaways and product tastings in stores Aug. 19 and Aug. 20, according to a news release.
Stores will also be offering a 50th anniversary reusable bag for 50 cents.
Trader Joe’s first opened Aug. 25, 1967 in Pasadena, California, and has since emerged as a national presence. There are currently 467 stores across 41 states and Washington, D.C.
“Every Trader Joe's store is committed to making grocery shopping an adventure and offering great values-high quality products for outstanding, everyday prices,” the store said in a release.
