Man Accused of Molesting 2 Sisters Found Not Guilty

On Monday, one of the sisters, who is now 9-years old, took the stand.

A 39-year-old Plantation man who was accused of molesting two pre-teen sisters at Quiet Waters Park in 2009 was found not guilty on Tuesday.

Corey Hipscher was remanded in custody until a Nov. 21 hearing on a parole violation.

On Monday, one of the sisters, who is now 9-years old, took the stand and testified that Hipscher inappropriately touched her between her legs when she climbed into a boat with him. At the time, she thought this was how someone was supposed to enter the boat.

Hipscher allegedly touched her sister similarly, but the girls noticed that something was wrong when Hipscher did not hoist their brother into the boat the same way.

The alleged victim also demonstrated what happened to her using a doll, but Hipscher's lawyers maintain that the girls misinterpreted the incident.

Hipscher was acquitted by a jury last August for similar charges, after only two hours of deliberation.

In that trial a 10-year old girl accused also accused Hipscher of touching her inappropriately as she got into a boat with him at the water park.

In 2003, Hipscher was convicted of sexual battery against his girlfriend at the time.

It was discovered after his arrest that he was already a convicted sex offender when he was hired at Quiet Waters Park. The county says it has since tightened its screening process.
