Sewer Main Break Diverts Traffic in Oakland Park

The break happened along Northeast 6th Avenue between Northeast 38th and Northeast 36th Streets

Crews were working to repair a sewer main break in Oakland Park early Thursday, officials said.

The break happened along Northeast 6th Avenue between Northeast 38th and Northeast 36th Streets, city spokesman David Rafter said.

As a result, morning traffic would be diverted to North Andrews Avenue and North Dixie Highway, Rafter said.

It was unknown how long the repairs would take.
