A northerly wind will keep South Florida in the 70s on the last day of the year Tuesday.
Conditions will be partly sunny with a stray shower and highs around 79. Wednesday will be very similar.
A front will come back up as a warm front, allowing temperatures to warm back into the lower 80s later in the week.
Then next cold front swings through by Thursday, leaving showers but then cooling down a bit for end of the work week.
