Woman Identified After Being Killed in Pompano Beach

An investigation is underway after a man reportedly killed a woman, police said Friday.

The incident happened Friday just before 1 p.m.

It happened at the 2500 block of Southeast 13th Street.

Deputies arrived to the scene and found a woman dead inside the home.

The woman was identified as 44-year-old Tammy Ramos-Eberle.

Shortly after, police took a person of interest into custody during a traffic stop.

The person of interest was taken to the hospital after complaining of chest pains.

The suspect was identified as 44-year-old Job Eberle. He is facing a first-degree murder charge.
