Miami Police is continuing their investigation after three people, including a 12-year-old boy, were shot near a Miami park Saturday.
Authorities say the three victims were walking near Clemente Park, 101 Northwest 34th St., Saturday night when they were stopped by a car. Authorities say a female passenger got out with a gun and demanded their belongings.
Police say the victims complied, but that the female suspect still fired several shots.
Police describe the shooter as a medium-built Black female who was possibly driving a mid-size, 4-door, Chrysler Sedan.
Police say the three victims ran down the streets before the boy collapsed. He was shot in the chest. A female victim was also hit and a man was grazed.
They were all taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. The boy was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center where he remains in critical condition. No other details were released.
